Windows 98
- Find the "My Computer" Icon on
your desktop and open it.
- Double Click the Dial-Up
Networking icon.
- Double-click on the Icon in the
folder for your connection to BrandywineNet
- Click on the "Dial
Properties..." button
- Make sure your area code is
filled in the "Area Code" field
- Click the "Area Code Rules"
button
- Check the box reading "Always
dial the Area Code (10 digit dialing)
- Close all the boxes by clicking
"Ok"
Windows 95
- Find the "My Computer" Icon on
your desktop and open it.
- Double Click the Dial-Up
Networking icon.
- Right-Click on
the Icon in the folder for your connection to BrandywineNet, and
select " Properties." with the Left button
- In this dialog, uncheck the box
labeled "Use country code and area code", and add the area code
in the phone number field (not
the Area Code" field)
- Click Ok, Close Dial-Up
Networking, and Close My computer.
Windows 3.1
When using..
TCPMAN:
Open Tcpman
and go to dialer. Then click on setup.cmd and this will ask you
for the number you are dialing. Add 610 in front of the number.
Continue through the setup, WITHOUT
CHANGING ANYTHING ELSE, then exit out of the Tcpman and save the
changes if it asks.
Windows 3.1
Microsoft Dialer:
- Double Click on
Microsoft Explorer Program Group.
- Double
Click on the BrandywineNet Icon.
- Click on
Properties.
- On the "General"
screen, uncheck "use country code and area code".
- Put '610' in
front of the phone number listed. Click ok then click
- close and SAVE
THE CHANGES.
Macintosh 8.0
- Open up the Control Panel.
- Go to PPP settings. (PPP, Config
PPP, Config PPP 2.5, ect.)
- Change the number in this dialog
to the new ten digit dial in number.
Macintosh 7.5
- Open up the
Control Panel.
- Select PPP
settings. (PPP, Config PPP, Config PPP 2.5, etc.)
- Press "Config"
Change the number listed to the ten digit dial in number.
